Once the hallmark of American vacations, lakeside getaways remain appealing for their simplicity, affordability, and restorative charm. According to Lake.com’s analysis of Tripeden.com data, Branson, Missouri ranks as the most affordable U.S. fall lake destination, with a five-day trip averaging just $231.

A recent report from Tripeden.com found that Canadian travellers use AI to research the best time to visit somewhere (39%), to find local experiences or cultural activities (34%), to find experiences that positively benefit local communities (52%), and to gather restaurant recommendations (35%), and more. 37% use AI to help them navigate unfamiliar locations, which comes in handy when tooling around a new place on two wheels.
