With the grand slam season and tennis tournament calendar in full swing, we are presenting a tour of places to stay that also serve up exclusive tennis courts, perfect to smash an ace. Of those who are traveling for sports this year, according to our insights, 64%* of travelers say they are doing so because they are passionate about a team or sport, while 47%* say they will be traveling for sports just to make a trip out of the occasion. In anticipation, we are rounding up four exceptional tennis-court stays in these tournament cities for - a game, set, and match. 
 

London, United Kingdom 
 

London is sprawling - while on the one hand it’s the center of all things art and culture, it is also a prized destination among travelers in town for the world’s oldest tennis championship. For them, there are a spectrum of attractions - from the Challengers Tennis soiree, an afternoon of playful competition and socializing, to the Wargrave Festival Go for Gold Tennis Day at the Wargrave Tennis Club, which promotes social and competitive matches among groups of all ages. Die-hards though won't go wrong with the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum. It’s located just steps from the center court and traces the history of the sport since its conception in the 16th century. In order to participate in this survey, respondents had to be 18 years of age or older, had to have traveled for leisure in the past 12 months including an overnight stay, planning to travel for leisure in 2024 and involved in travel planning. The survey was taken online and took place in January and February 2024.
